Chess and checkers tables in the world: sit down with a friend or take on the AI, put money on the game, and keep a rating and a record of every game you play.

♟️ Real tables, real seats

• The script places the table, the board, both chairs and every piece itself. Five tables ship ready to use (Blackwater, Saint Denis, Rhodes, Armadillo, Sisika), and you add your own in the config or in game with /poggy
• Characters walk to the chair and sit down the way the game's own people do
• Pieces move on the 3D board, with a second board on screen, a move list and several camera views
• Anyone standing nearby can watch a game in progress

🤖 An AI worth playing

• Seven chess levels, from beginner to grandmaster. The top levels ask Stockfish, and the server's own engine plays whenever it cannot be reached
• Three checkers levels
• The AI's moves are chosen on the server, never by a player's game
• Hints and an evaluation bar in games against the AI

🔴 Checkers, four ways

• American, Russian, Brazilian and Pool rules, or house rules picked at the table
• Captures are picked one jump at a time, so when a capture can go two ways the player chooses; F takes a jump back
• Pieces that must capture are ringed, and the rules in play are on screen throughout

📜 The full rules of chess

• Castling, en passant, promotion and check, all checked on the server
• Draws by the fifty-move rule, repetition and too few pieces left to mate; draw offers and resigning

💰 Wagers that cannot be dodged

• The stake is taken from both players when the game starts and the winner takes both
• Standing up or leaving the server mid-game loses it
• A server restart returns both stakes, paid out the next time the player is online
• Cash or gold, with your own minimum and maximum

🏆 Ratings and a record

• Elo ratings for chess and for checkers, per character, and a leaderboard. Games against the AI are never rated
• My record: every game per character, with filters and opponents, and a move-by-move review of any game
• Unfinished games are saved and can be picked up again, and an opponent who stops moving can be claimed against after a few minutes

⚙️ Built for your server

• Every setting is in /poggy: tables, AI levels, wagers, ratings, what happens when a player dies, the screen
• Every word a player sees is in translations.lua
• /chesstable for admins: every table at a glance, reset one, or re-rate everyone

🔄 Updates itself

Runs on poggy_core (free): updates install automatically, and your config and translations are merged so your values and your tables survive. The database tables are created on the first start, so there is no SQL to import.

🔓 Open where it matters

config.lua, translations.lua and the SQL are open. The rest is protected by Cfx escrow.
